Machinations
Was it safe from that way? It fell apart one day Don't you see it fits Somehow we found It comes around Don't change your mind on me, my friend Will she...won’t she Painted faces of my machines
Above Solaris
I guess I should've never trusted anything that can't be alone Maybe it's all exhaustion trying to dig to see what's wrong I connected things I collected things Do you think they understand? I guess I never trusted Maybe I'm not the man Remember the night is where we thrive Stay beneath the colors with me When all said and done again I'll be right here, my dear Rushing out to meet the danger Don't tell me I'm alone I know how she plays the future Girl you’re going to reap what you sow It comes back again, around the bend It won’t end It just won’t end Now I found...we all ascend
Siren's Call
I'll drag you down through the black depths of the water We'll dream we're mermaids as the silt fills our lungs And if you yearn for the surface as we fall Just remember I'm here too, love And the currents will shout that they love you, too And every wrinkle in your skin is the water’s gift to you Let our love drown us both While our souls still hold hope We'll let our love drown us both And kiss the liquid that we choke I'll drag you down to the bottom of the sea Like stones we'll break the schools of fish apart The pressure only makes you more aware Of all the frantic beating of your heart And the wild waves above will sing a chilling tune Of a million bubbling, gurgling “I love yous” And I will love you till my skin turns blue And I will love you till my skin turns blue We're sinking, we're stalling We're sleeping, we're falling We're drinking, we're beating We're thinking, we're cheating
I've Done Some Waking Up in my Room
We are somewhere else They can't even tell I've done some waking up in my room I've done some waking up in my room And they say...and they say...and they say... They've caught us all off guard Did they come to do us harm? I've done some waking up in my room I've done some waking up in my room And they say...and they say… and they say… Things are changing shape Things will change...just wait I've done some waking up in my room I've done some waking up in my room And they say...and they say… and they say… We got dangerous eyes They've got dangerous files I've done some waking up in my room I've done some waking up in my room And they say...and they say… and they say… Wake up people It’s time to wake up
Ambivalence
We go through the tides Without letting anybody else in We've been lost for miles Oh...we’re so spent Ambivalence She hugged and her eyes Looked out of focus Not quite right There's two sides to your smile I can see why you’re so important We go for a while Till sweet ambivalence Well hey...aren’t we good friends? She hugged and her eyes Looked out of focus Not quite right
Merry Marry
Through the painted glass I must have seen you Beating like a star To chase the dawn Tried to capture fate Inside of of my sight Looking back again It was gone So gone So gone So wrong So long Blades upon my words Twist into your back I can't make them go away instead Wishing it was new And nice to see you I can't turn around And face the sun So gone So gone So wrong So long So gone So gone So wrong So long
Down with You
Oh it’s time I see the conflict in your eyes Is there nothing there to find? You asked me to go down with you But they’re kind All sorts of colors in their mind I came down here to try It’s not much to offer but I’m here on your dime
