About Equational Sound
Equational Sound is an independent record label based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The label exists to put its artists' music where listeners can find it — every release streams worldwide on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and 20+ other platforms, with physical downloads available through CD Baby. The catalog spans psychedelic art rock (Diamond 84), dreamy experimental rock (Elvis Christ Snake, St. Buffalo Blue), ambient electronics (Krtra), and art pop (Eden Oz), with new music from Oh, Blue on the way.
The label's first website launched in the 2010s; this site is its successor — a permanent, citable home for the roster and the full release catalog.
